We’ll forgive Syracuse Orange fans if you hadn’t noticed something that the Mid-American Conference came up with this summer. MAC Commissioner Jon Steinbrecher thought it would be a fun idea to come up with this pirate flag which he sent to each of his member schools to fly with pride. (Also available for purchase at the MAC Store)
“I have provided a MAC Jolly Roger flag to each institution have asked they after each victory, home or away, that the flag be run up the flag pole and remain there until the next game.” - Commissioner Steinbrecher #FlyTheFlag #MACtion pic.twitter.com/J7gvvk8OCy

Fun idea right? Well after the Orange’s 55-42 victory over the Western Michigan Broncos last Friday night in Kalamazoo then I believe WMU’s flag becomes our rightful property. You see the Brown Broncos’ leader Captain Submarine couldn’t fend off the advances of Admiral Babers and the land/air assault of Eric the Hurdler and One-Arm Custis. The Orange ships successfully plundered Kalamazoo and have sailed back along the waters of Lake Ontario to the shores of Onondage Lake with the #MACtion flag in their possession.
So now we ask you Commissioner Steinbrecher, how do you like our newest Carrier Dome addition?
