The Syracuse Orange will host the Wagner Seahawks in their home opener on Saturday. Even with the off day for most of us, ‘Cuse is still prepping and they’ve released the new depth chart for the week.

As you probably notice, few changes there, really. Freshman Andre Szmyt moves to place kicker instead of Sterling Hofrichter — but Szmyt was the kicker last week anyway. He made his two field goal tries in Friday’s win over Western Michigan. Hofrichter will still handle kickoffs and punting, however.
Honestly, aside from seeing Tommy DeVito starting (kidding), there shouldn’t be too many changes to the Orange two-deep even after next week, unless the injury bug comes through. Though even if it did, Dino Babers’s depth charts have typically been a week behind on-field adjustments. Hopefully not much else shuffles after what should be an easy contest against the Seahawks (who won 40-23 over DII Bowie State this past Thursday).
