2017 Stats: Collected 46 tackles and defended 19 passes (including five picks), while helping lead Archbishop Stepinac to a 10-2 record. On the offensive side of the ball, he also had 534 total yards and 11 touchdowns. Trill returned punts as well.

2018 Projections: He could very well redshirt, though he’s already second on the Syracuse Orange two-deep depth chart right now. Trill has a ton of natural talent, and will be a solid contributor going forward. Perhaps Dino Babers finds a way to use him within the new redshirt rules this year.

How Did He Get Here?: Trill picked ‘Cuse after being heavily courted by Boston College, Rutgers and Ohio State. He also had interest from B1G schools like Penn State, Michigan State and Maryland.

What Did Recruiting Sites Say?: 247 had him at 4 stars and the No. 3 prospect in New York state. Rivals and ESPN had him at 3 stars, so we’re choosing to ignore them for now.
