It’s been awhile since we’ve seen a proper Syracuse Orange football roster update, but Friday brought the annual pre-camp changes — including freshman jersey numbers and any last offseason height and weight changes.
Notably, freshman running back Akeem Dixon is off the roster. But the other summer class of 2018 players have made it and have now been assigned numbers. For your reference (and ours when we double back for “Get to Know” pieces in late July/early August):

The lone player expected to be on campus who’s absent there is four-star offensive lineman Qadir White, though he’s expected to enroll “any day” according to a story from Syracuse.com this week.
Syracuse.com’s Stephen Bailey also noted some of the big gainers/losers in terms of weight on the roster. Kendall Coleman (+26), Zach Morton (+23) and Josh Black (+22) packed on the most pounds compared to last season. Meanwhile, Jamal Custis (-14), Evan Adams (-12) and Airon Servais (-12) dropped the most compared to the 2017 official roster.
Also, apparently Eric Dungey added another four pounds and weighs in at 226 now. That’s a plus, though hopefully with a better offensive line in front of him, he’s absorbing fewer hits than last year anyway.
