The dust just finished settling on the 2018 NBA Draft, but since the internet is a monster that demands #CONTENT at all times, we’ve already moved onto 2019 mock drafts.
Quite a few publications have already published theirs, and on a related note, quite a few also include Syracuse Orange men’s basketball players — with Oshae Brissett appearing in nearly all of them.
Obviously it’s still VERY early, but here’s a rundown of every mock draft that gave some love to Orange standouts:

SB Nation
The mothership sees Brissett going No. 25 overall (team doesn’t matter right now since draft order will change), but sees him being able to improve that standing as well.
“Brissett is a long 6’8 forward who can handle the ball some and has great defensive versatility. He hit 33 percent of his threes last season, which is OK, but there’s a big opportunity for him to boost his stock but improving his perimeter jumper.”
Improved outside shot required? Seems fair. Would also add finishing around the rim — two things Brissett can definitely boost this offseason.
NBADraft.net
NBADraft.net is the only site I’ve seen to take on both rounds for 2019, and in doing so, they end up listing three Syracuse players. Brissett goes at No. 26 (the lone first-rounder), while Battle is selected at No. 36 and Frank Howard (!!!) is picked 60th. Let’s go with this one.
The Big Lead
They only went into depth on the lottery, but Battle gets the nod at No. 16 here. The Big Lead was the only site to list Battle but not Brissett.
Bleacher Report
Brissett is picked No. 20 here, with no further details. That’s fine. It’s one of the higher spots for him of all of the mocks.
Fort Worth Star-Telegram
Interestingly, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram had a pretty good mock as well, with Brissett also going 20th there.
ESPN
The Worldwide Leader doesn’t think much of Syracuse’s prospects right now. They have Brissett at No. 34, and that’s it.
It’s also worth noting that a couple mock drafts did not feature Syracuse players at all. Sporting News left them off entirely and CBS did too, but the latter mock was lottery-only.
So what do you think? Too high or too low for Brissett? Weird not seeing Battle in more places? Share your own draft expertise below.
