The Syracuse Orange won’t have anyone selected in the first round of this year’s NFL Draft, and may not hear a name called at all throughout this weekend. We don’t take that as a reason to avoid discussing the event anyway, however. Also, thanks, as always, to our producer Louis for making this listenable.
Some of the larger topics this week:
- The issues with home-field conference tournaments
- Why did Amba Etta-Tawo get a combine invite and Steve Ishmael didn’t?
- Did you see the NCAA basketball commission’s very bad ideas?
- Which Orange players could get selected in the NFL Draft this weekend?
- Syracuse men’s lacrosse and their NCAA Tournament chances
- Bemoaning the New York Giants’ predicament and draft hivemind-speak
- Want more beer? Follow John and Dan on Untappd
Plan accordingly: This week’s podcast runs about 48 minutes. The first half NFL Draft #narratives. The second half bounces around Syracuse men’s and women’s lacrosse items, including both the ACC and NCAA Tournaments.
