Syracuse was the first Division 1 school to offer the JUCO sophomore, while five others followed suit, four coming from Power 5 programs.
Tisdale competed at South Brunswick (NJ) High School, the alma mater of senior running back Dontae Strickland, before enrolling at Lackawanna.
Looking ahead to next season, Syracuse will lose Cody Conway and Koda Martin to graduation, leaving both tackle positions open. Tisdale becomes the third offensive line commit in the 2019 cycle, joining Matthew Bergeron and Anthony Red. With his junior college experience, Tisdale is expected to compete immediately for playing time.
It is not know whether Tisdale will sign during the early signing period, which begins December 19 and runs until December 21.
