Syracuse men’s lacrosse: Orange ranked 11th in Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook preseason rankings

The Syracuse Orange are 11th in Inside Lacrosse’s Face-Off Yearbook preseason rankings. Last season, the Orange were ranked 9th in the same preseason list.

The Orange come in to the season with a ton of experience carrying over from a year ago. Syracuse loses two starters in attackman Brendan Bomberry and goaltender Dom Madonna. With that experience as well as guys such as Tucker Dordevic and Brendan Curry making immediate impacts as freshmen, the Orange will look to return to Championship Weekend for the first time since 2013.

Syracuse will take on eight teams in the preseason top 25, with five of them in the top 10. The Orange will also scrimmage against the Yale Bulldogs in early February. Three of the five ACC teams are in the top 10, with North Carolina coming in at 16. The 2019 regular season schedule should be released later this month.
