Welcome to college football’s early signing period for the class of 2019! The Syracuse Orange will be adding new recruits from Wednesday to (maybe) Friday. As each player signs, we’ll be posting profiles here on TNIAAM. Next up? Cornelius Nunn, who completed the rare “re-return” after decommitting from Syracuse and heading to Miami.

Player breakdown:
Nunn should probably remind you a bit of two great defenders from the 2018 class — Andre Cisco and Trill Williams. In space, he makes quick moves and wraps up well. Though he’s not a big player any means, Nunn still has all of the speed and ability to make plays. And some time in a college weight room should help him boost his strength a bit for the caliber of play he’ll face in the ACC. He’s obviously a defender, though you also have to be impressed by how well he avoids would-be tacklers as a ball-carrier too.
