Welcome to college football’s early signing period for the class of 2019! The Syracuse Orange will be adding new recruits from Wednesday to (maybe) Friday. As each player signs, we’ll be posting profiles here on TNIAAM. Next up? It took a year, but class of 2018 running back Jawhar Jordan finally makes it official.

High School: Hamilton
Position: Running back
Stats: 5’10, 160 lbs.
Commitment date: May 24, 2017
Ratings: Three stars from everyone.

Highlights:
Player outlook: Jordan is a promising recruit. He’s small yet fast and shifty. Although, this position is clogged for the near future. Next season, he will receive almost no playing time with Abdul Adams, Moe Neal, and Jarveon Howard all on the roster. Once Neal and possibly Adams depart, he’ll have to fight off Markenzy Pierre and Otto Zaccardo for carries. It’s quite possible that he’s an impact player by his second season, but it won’t be easy.
