#CuseTixForKids update: WE HIT THE GOAL

YOU’RE ALL ABSOLUTE MAGICIANS!

I’m not sure if you knew, but the Syracuse Orange are playing the West Virginia Mountaineers in the Camping World Bowl in Orlando, which is not near ‘Cuse. So as per usual, we want to send a bunch of underprivileged local kids to the game, decked out in Orange.

Update as of Friday night around 8 p.m. ET: WE SURPASSED THE GOAL. Thanks to Paul Dottle for his incredibly generous $3,000 donation to help us get to $14,444 in fewer than four full days.

Just because we made it though, doesn’t mean we should stop donations. The more we raise, the more kids from Sports 4 the Kids and the Seven Rivers Pop Warner football program in Lecanto, Fla. get to the game — all thanks to your generosity! We also want to again thank the Syracuse University Athletic department for assisting with tickets and donating t-shirts for the kids and their families.

DONATE HERE

If you’ve donated already, first of all: Thank you very much for your generosity around the holidays. We appreciate you, and these kids certainly will, too. If you haven’t donated, hopefully you’ll join us in this cool tradition we’ve started. For those that may not be able to spare the cash ($44 has been the donation for most), please help out and at least post the link on your preferred social media channels just to help get the word out some more.

We’re going to evaluate where we are at on Monday as we’re going to need to turn tickets and shirts etc. around pretty quickly. So if you can, keep sharing and donate if you can over the weekend and let’s (at minimum) hit the initial goal.
