Now that we know what Syracuse Orange players will receive as “bowl schwag” (Ed. note: goddamn everyone for incorrectly using “swag” so often) from the Camping World Bowl sponsors, it’s time for us to give you the TNIAAM slant. Getting a $400 Best Buy gift card as a college student seems like a pretty good deal, but how should they spend it?
We put the question to our group in the Slack chat room to see how we’d spend it so let’s take a look:

Using this space to easily vouch for a PS4 and snag Marvel’s Spider-Man. One of the most fun games I’ve ever played, combining the gameplay of Arkham with the Spider-Man stories we all love.
(Andy also suggested that Dino Babers would buy 16 Amazon Echo Dots to ensure Carlos Santana’s “Smooth” is blasted in every corner of Manley Field House and that’s the best idea I’ve heard recently).

I found out I was in the TV market when I went to this bar with the most beautiful television I’ve ever laid my eyes on. This thing was bright, sharp and magnificent. I remember asking the bar tender about the TV and I’m sure he told me about it. I don’t remember what he told me. I just remember getting home and realizing I rely on a piece of junk for my sports watching experience. I really can’t stop thinking about that TV, so I’d make myself feel better and go with this Toshiba 50” 4k TV for $329. I have no idea if that is close to the specs of the TV from that bar -- probably not -- but it’d make me feel better.

I’m tempted to go PS4 here as well but instead I’ll take this Samsung 50” 4k tv and use my remaining $50 to add some 4k HDMI cables just to get my full money’s worth. This would be a fine addition to any Winding Ridge apartment or blogger office.

This is mostly for the seniors, who won’t need to practice anymore after this game’s over, so free time becomes a cool new thing to explore. As a 30-year old, I’ve used what little of it I have to play Nintendo Switch, so why wouldn’t they want to do the same as adults that unlike me have no children, responsibilities or any real reason to be up before noon? Best Buy has the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate bundle for $359.99. Use the rest to buy another game on sale or put it toward a pro controller since I’m not a big fan of the joy cons.

That’s what we’d go with so let us know in the comments how you’d spend that $400.
