A key commit in the 2019 recruiting cycle, 3-star safety Cornelius Nunn, Jr. (FL) has decommitted from the Syracuse Orange, per his personal Twitter.

Nunn, Jr. had originally pledged to Dino Babers and company in June, a decision he also announced via his personal Twitter. According to 247sports, Nunn holds 23 offers from Division 1 programs and is considered a top 50 safety in the 2019 class. 247sports also has projected that Nunn, Jr. is leaning towards committing in-state with the Miami-Florida Hurricanes.

- Darius Robinson (MI), a key 3-star DL prospect in the 2019 cycle, recently visited Rutgers. Robinson was set to commit in September, choosing between Syracuse, Rutgers, UVA, and four other schools. Instead, Robinson announced that he will delay his commitment
- 2019 DB Aman Greenwood (DC) also pushed back his commitment, and there is speculation that Syracuse coaches will visit him this week (per Syracusefan.com)
