The No. 22 Syracuse Orange (still insane) are headed to to North Carolina to take on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, who after a hot start have cooled off significantly. The Orange are road favorites in this one, so what’s the roster plan for the game? Here’s what we know via an updated depth chart.
Syracuse’s Week 10 depth chart (Wake Forest): co-starters listed at running back, linebacker and nose tackle. As mentioned in my AM notebook, Josh Black made his first start of the year at NT against N.C. State. pic.twitter.com/IhWiV3NhZ5

Some quick thoughts:
- We’re back to Moe Neal and Dontae Strickland as co-starters. Neither player had more than 43 yards rushing last week, and both only had one catch in the game. It’s clear that the staff doesn’t love one more than other, it’s all situational at this point.
- As Stephen Bailey mentions, Josh Black got the start at nose tackle, McKinley Williams’s spot to date. Black got on the scoresheet with a tackle, Williams did not. Nice to have some options along a line that’s been strong so far.
- Shyheim Cullen is getting his chance, splitting time with Andrew Armstrong. Armstrong had the pick that led to the game sealing touchdown.
