Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Podcast: Syracuse vs. North Carolina/Joe Girard

John returns, so we get back to the random side commentary around Syracuse sports.

The Syracuse Orange had a bye last week, and hopefully we’ve all cooled down. If not for football reasons, then perhaps for SU basketball reasons, as New York shooting phenom Joe Girard committed to the Orange — so we talk about that a bit, along with football. And thanks, as always, to our producer Louis for making this listenable.

Some of the larger topics this week:

  • Is Eric Dungey the Syracuse football version of Eric Devendorf?
  • Jim Boeheim’s traversed NCAA sanctions about as well as possible
  • John watched the UNC-Virginia Tech game for some reason, so he talks about it
  • Looking ahead at win probabilities and what we should expect for Syracuse
  • The alt-reality where SU’s hosting College Gameday next weekend
  • Are any of the UNC quarterbacks with names ending in ‘z’ better than Chazz Anderson?
  • Want more beer? Follow John and Dan on Untappd!

Plan accordingly: This podcast runs around an hour. We start with Joe Girard and Syracuse basketball recruiting talk, then move onto football, plus the usual nonsense.
