Syracuse Football Bowl Watch: Give us your mid-tier, reasonable game locations

Nothing surprising as Syracuse continues to get credit for the work done so far.

After a game versus the Fightin’ Byes, the Syracuse Orange don’t move any closer to bowl eligibility, because the NCAA says we made the whole thing up. Jerks. Anyways, the Bad Boy Mower is sitting at 23 of the way full, needing two more wins to head off somewhere down south or to the west. Where do the experts think the GPS is set?

ESPN’s Kyle Bonagura: Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl vs Kentucky Wildcats | Nashville, Tenn.

The bowl I’m personally stumping for, a Friday night before New Years weekend in Nashville sounds like an awesome time. Playing Kentucky and their run game? Not so much.

Sporting News: Walk On’s Independence Bowl vs Tennessee Volunteers | Shreveport, La.

THE BATTLE FOR THE ORANGE EMOJI WILL BE SETTLED IN LOUISIANA! But seriously, another team who’s shown the ability to win big games and then lay an egg the next week would make for a very “bowl game” game.

SI: Military Bowl Presented by Northrop Grumman vs Army Black Knights | Annapolis, Md.

CBS Sports: Military Bowl Presented by Northrop Grumman vs Temple Owls | Annapolis, Md.

The Military Bowl is probably the best of both worlds for ‘Cuse fans: Commute that’s not terrible from Central New York/NYC/NJ area where most of our alumni and student base resides. Annapolis is a cool place and playing a team that’s good, but probably not as talented as SU. Might not be the warmest, but may be the best situation.

ESPN’s Mitch Sherman: New Era Pinstripe Bowl vs Maryland Terrapins | New York, NY

SB Nation: New Era Pinstripe Bowl vs Indiana Hoosiers | New York, NY

Ahh yes, the big boys want to see Syracuse fans freeze for the second time in as many months at Yankee Stadium. BRING IT ON, B1G! (also, may not want to face Maryland in the bowl game, if only because we’re slated to face the Terps in week two of 2019).

Where would you prefer Syracuse go bowling this December?
