This and That:
- 18 Schools were unanimous selections, that's two fewer than last week. South Florida (22) was the lowest ranked of the eighteen. The seven non-consensus selections were: Penn State #10 (5 of 6 ballots), Wisconsin #18 (5), Cincinnati #19 (5), N.C. State #21 (3) , Stanford #23 (2) Texas A&M #24 (2) and Auburn #24 (4)
- Washington State and Iowa each appeared on three ballots (more than two ranked schools) but did not crack the Top 25.
- Alabama and Washington each had the smallest spread on their votes. Alabama was 1/2 on every ballot and Washington was 8/9.
- Whats up with 17? Every ballot ranked a different school at #17, and for five of those six schools, the #17 ranking was either their highest or lowest ranking.
- Seven different schools received a Top 4 vote, That's down one from last week with Oklahoma falling off the list (Ala, Geo, Clem, LSU, OSU, ND, WVU)
