The Syracuse Orange were in need of some good news after suffering a disappointing loss on the road to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Their weaknesses were exploited as the Orange crumbled late in the game, but this morning the Syracuse we can take some (minimal) solace in the fact that we’re still projected to make the NCAA Tournament — or at least Joe Lunardi thinks we will.
In his most recent bracketology update, Lunardi has the Orange as a 10-seed in the West region of the bracket. They would be facing the Creighton Bluejays in the first round, with the winner likely facing the red-hot Oklahoma Sooners.

The Orange were a 10 seed in last week's bracket, so the loss to the Demon Deacons hasn't "ended the season" as some overreacting fans would think. However, there is one thing that is clear after last night's loss: the Orange need to perform better on the road if they want to be dancing in March.
Tyus Battle and crew must find a way to solve their offensive woes if they want to have want to keep the tournament in their sights. If they can figure out the half-court troubles, this Syracuse basketball team could be a scary out for any team that faces them in the Big Dance.
