Despite the sadness that came from today's double overtime loss, it's always nice to celebrate good news in the Syracuse Basketball family, and Andrew White III gave us just that.
Sources: The Atlanta Hawks are signing forward Andrew White of G League Maine on a two-way NBA contract.

The Atlanta Hawks are signing the former Orangeman to a two-way deal after his impressive play with the Maine Red Claws, the G League affiliate of the Boston Celtics. White is coming off of a 21 point outing for the Red Claws, as he also added five rebounds to that performance.
White is averaging 15.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game for the Red Claws. The 6'7" forward out of Syracuse went un-drafted, but he got signed on by the Celtics and has been playing for their G League affiliate.

The Atlanta Hawks currently hold the worst record in the NBA (11-31), so this should be a great opportunity for White to get some playing time and show the league that he belongs. You can expect White to be utilized for his knock down shooting ability, which could be effective off of penetration from Dennis Schroder.
TNIAAM wishes Andrew good luck in this next chapter in his NBA career!
