As mentioned for the last couple weeks, we want to try and do these Facebook Live recaps each week, when possible. Given the positivity around the Syracuse Orange’s 41-17 victory over the Central Michigan Chippewas, we figured why not make this one the first?
Some of the big topics we discuss:
- The run game was actually effective!
- Syracuse’s front seven was fantastic, and set up the secondary
- Cole Murphy... whyyyy?
- Sean Riley’s probably the MVP of the game
- Eric Dungey wasn’t super accurate, but still played very well
- Syracuse also can’t pass-protect, which may be a problem next week
- Where’d Ervin Philips disappear to in the second half of this one?
- First quarter play-calling issues disappeared, thankfully
Check out the video below!
