Name: Sean Riley
Position: Wide Receiver (and return man)
Year: Sophomore
Height: 5’8"
Weight: 151 lbs.
Hometown: Playa del Rey, Calif.
High School: Narbonne
2016 stats: Riley broke out as a freshman. He was second on the Syracuse Orange in all purpose yards with 1,240. He led the NCAA in kickoff return yardage (granted, SU received a lot of kickoffs) and earned his spot as the go-to man returning. Riley racked up 109 receiving yards and rushed the ball once as well.
2017 projections: He will be back in his kick return role and should perform as well if not better there and at punt returner too. He is fast, can change speeds on a dime and just make people miss. He will also see some reps at wide receiver as he sits in the top four right now. His inside receiver reps totally depend on his availability after being the lead returner.
How’d he get here?: Riley was recruited by Arizona, Hawaii, Utah, Wyoming and San Diego State. He flipped from Arizona to Syracuse and was one of 12 true freshman to get playing time last season.
What’d recruiting sites say?: Three stars, 24/7 sports called him the no. 32 all-purpose back in the 2016 class.

What movie would Dino Babers recommend for him?: The Mighty Ducks. One, because it’s just a great film. Two, Shaun Weiss plays Goldberg. Goldberg is the goalie and probably the most fun to watch in the entire movie.
Interesting nugget o’interest: He is speedy. There are very unconfirmed results from high school that say he runs a 4.4 40-yard dash.
Let’s get a good look at ya: Talk to me, freshman!
