As we’ve detailed quite a bit around here, Boeheim’s Army is back for another go-around this summer in The Basketball Tournament. The team of former Syracuse Orange players will compete with 63 other squads for a $2 million prize awarded on August 3 after the championship in Baltimore.
This year’s team features several returning faces from the last couple years’ teams, but also some new ones. A quick rundown of the roster:
Coach
Ryan Blackwell
Guards
Trevor Cooney, Eric Devendorf, John Gillon, Scoop Jardine (injured), Brandon Triche
Forwards
CJ Fair, Donte Greene, Rick Jackson, Dashonte Riley, James Southerland
The team also gets the Jim Boeheim stamp of approval, as you might have guessed.

But how do you watch the team in action? We’ve included those details below. We’ll also be following along this weekend, including gamethread(s), recaps and other reactions.
Game 1
No. 3 Boeheim’s Army vs. No. 14 Dubois Dream

Place: Philadelphia University, Philadelphia
Channel: WatchESPN
Game 2 (if necessary)
No. 3 Boeheim’s Army vs. No. 6 City of Gods/No. 11 Gaelnation

Should Boeheim’s Army get through the opening rounds, they’ll move onto the Super 16 in Brooklyn, N.Y. That game would take place on either July 20 or 21. The Northeast Regional Final would be on July 23.
The Basketball Tournament semifinals would then take place on August 1 in Baltimore, followed by the aforementioned championship on August 3.
Good luck to the team on Saturday (and hopefully Sunday). And head back to TNIAAM to watch along with us.
