Name: Cordell Hudson

Position: Cornerback

Year: Junior

Height: 5’11"

Weight: 166 lbs.

Hometown: Largo, Fla.

High School: Largo

2016 Stats: He had 43 tackles in nine games for the Syracuse Orange. Hudson had a big game against UConn. He had a pick-six and shut down a fake field goal attempt. He was one of the go to co-ners in a struggling secondary.

2017 Projections: The preseason depth chart shows he’s fallen off the radar a little. That said, there is a ton of competition still with Scoop Bradshaw and Notre Dame transfer Devin Butler, among others.

How'd He Get Here?: He was recruited by Iowa State, Rutgers, Marshall and Wake Forest but went with the Orange in 2014.

What'd Recruiting Sites Say?: Along with almost every recruit the Orange get, he had three stars.

Twitterfeed: @Dellydubz

Tweets of Wonder: Part time cornerback, part time movie critic.

What movie would Dino Babers recommend for him?: A legendary plane landing in the Hudson river is told in amazing fashion in Sully. If that doesn’t work Flight is a very similar concept but includes his man Denzel.

Interesting Nugget O'Interest: He’s an academic as well. He entered the 2015 season already with senior standing after just two years at SU.
