Name: Moe Neal
Position: Running back (maybe wide receiver too?)
Year: Sophomore
Height: 5’11”
Weight: 169 lbs.
Hometown: Gastonia, N.C.
High School: Forestview High School
2016 stats: He played in all 12 games and was second on the team in rushing yards (357 on 68 carries). He also scored two touchdowns and recorded a season-long rush of 49 yards.
2017 projections: The talented Neal probably won’t start for the Syracuse Orange, but that said, he should get plenty of time in both the backfield and out wide. As Dino Babers described back in March, he should be the “jack of all trades” for the Orange. Whatever position he plays, his electric athleticism will add another facet to their offensive attack.
How’d he get here?: Neal received multiple offers from other ACC schools, but he eventually committed to Syracuse before the start of his senior year.
What did recruiting sites say?: 3 stars all around.
Twitterfeed: @Captainmoe21_
Tweets of wonder: I’m assuming this means something important.
Counting on my partner Ervdak to have his head on the swivel at the Quad tomorrow @Ambition1_

What movie would Dino Babers recommend for him?: The 1987 comedy, Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, starring Steve Martin as Neal Page. Page is trying to get back home before thanksgiving with an obnoxious slob as his companion.
Interesting nugget o’interest: Neal is actually the first player from Forestville High School to receive a football scholarship to a Power-5 school.
Let’s get a good look at ya: Here he is in March talking about changing positions.
