Name: Nadarius Fagan
Position: Linebacker
Year: Freshman
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 200 lbs.
Hometown: Goulds, Fla.
High School: Miami Southridge
2016 Stats: He’s a newbie! In his senior year of High School he racked up 119 tackles on a 12-2 team. He enrolled at SU in January and was a part of spring practice with the Syracuse Orange.
2017 Projections: Syracuse is pretty much set at linebacker for the fall. Seniors Zaire Franklin, Parris Bennett and Jonathan Thomas will likely fill the starting roles. As a true freshman I’d expect Fagan to watch and learn for most of the season.
How'd He Get Here?: He really racked up offers. Alabama, LSU, USC, Nebraska, and Appalachian State made the short list of schools. He early enrolled at SU in January.
What'd Recruiting Sites Say?: Fagan was a unanimous three star athlete. ESPN said he was the 38th ranked linebacker in the nation.

Tweets of Wonder: We just got told.
From now on all reporters, analysts, coaches and players don't call me "DADA" call me "Achilles" if you don't know who that is go watch Troy

What movie would Dino Babers recommend for him?: Fearless Fagan is based on a true story. Never seen it, but its a 1952 movie about a man who brings his pet lion to the army.
Interesting Nugget O'Interest: The SU Athletics page tells us Fagan is nicknamed “DaDa” (pronounced Day-Day), though he specifically says above that’s no longer on the table.
