New, 1 comment

Quite the convenient name

NCAA Basketball: St. John at Syracuse Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

Name: Otto Zaccardo

Position: Running back

Year: Sophomore

Height: 5’10”

Weight: 186 lbs.

Hometown: Subury, Mass.

High School: Lincoln-Sudbury (Also attended Worcester Academy prep school)

2016 stats: He did not record any rushing yards or attempts, but he did play a role on special teams. He traveled to three away games and was an All-ACC honor roll selection.

2017 projections: He is not expected to receive any time at running back, but he should see an increased role on special teams.

How did he get here?: He entered as a preferred walk on last year. He chose Syracuse because he wanted the challenge of a P5 conference and the Orange were the only program within such parameters who offered him.

What’d recruiting sites say?: Nothing.

Twitter feed: @ottozone321

Tweets of wonder: I’ve got to say, this is pretty clever.

What movie would Dino recommenced for him?: The 1984 comedy Repo Man might be up his alley. It stars the infamous Emilio Estevez as Otto Madox and focuses on a fairly science fiction themed plot. Never saw it, but heard it was good.

Interesting nugget o’interest: He’s actually a fairly prolific artist as well. Check out one of his pieces here.
