Get to know your Orange Man: #31, TE Kyle Kleinberg

The junior returns for another season

NCAA Football: Virginia Tech at Syracuse Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

Name: Kyle Kleinberg

Position: Tight end

Year: Junior

Height: 6’0”

Weight: 220 lbs.

Hometown: Armonk, N.Y.

High School: Don Bosco Prep

2016 stats: He appeared in all 12 games and spent most of the time with the hands team. He recorded three special teams tackles throughout the year.

2017 projections: Kleinberg should be a reserve once more this upcoming season; although he’ll play on the offensive side at tight end (backing up Ravian Pierce).

How’d he get here?: He chose Syracuse as a preferred walk on over D1-AA offers from Dartmouth, Maine, and Yale.

What’d recruiting sites say?: Nothing at all.

Twitterfeed: @kyle11berg

Tweets of wonder: Not sure what to make of this.

What movie would Dino recommend for him?: The 1994 crime sports drama, Above the Rim. The main character, Kyle Lee Watson, is a former basketball star who has fallen on hard times. Yes, this is a basketball movie, but I did enjoy it. It also stars Tupac Shakur, so there’s that.

Interesting nugget o’interest: He was actually high school team mates with incoming Syracuse quarterback, Tommy Devito, for a few seasons. Of course, Kleinberg is a few years older, but they did play on the same team for a few seasons at Don Bosco Prep in New Jersey.

Let’s get a good look at ya:
