Las Vegas set the Syracuse Orange’s over/under win total at four for this season, so it should come as no surprise that the sportsbooks aren’t high on the team’s chances to win the ACC title either.

Syracuse ends up with 200-to-1 odds, which would pay you $200 for every dollar you spent on a bet. I wouldn’t advise putting a ton of money on the Orange to win the title given the talent teams like Florida State, Clemson and Louisville have. But at the same time, if you’re in the desert and want to toss $10 at it, why not give yourself a very slim chance to collect $2,000?
The favorite above is obviously FSU, at 10-to-11 odds (a bet you shouldn’t bother making), followed by Clemson (3-to-1), Louisville (9-to-2) and Miami (5-to-1). Our Atlantic Division brethren NC State gets a 40-to-1 shot, while strongly disliked Pittsburgh is at 60-to-1 despite an easier path to the Championship Game in Charlotte than the Wolfpack have.
The bottom is inhabited by exactly who you’d expect. Us and Wake Forest at 200-to-1, while Virginia gets the same odds being in the easier division (despite being a worse team). Boston College fans will likely take exception to being so much further down at 300-to-1 odds after winning seven games this year. But they also looked pretty bad in doing so (and went 2-6 in league play).
So are you booking your trip to Vegas now to put money down on SU? Which team looks like the best value bet above?
