Name: Troy Henderson
Position: Linebacker
Year: (Redshirt) Sophomore
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 215
Hometown: Cleveland, Ohio
High School: St. Edwards High School
2016 Stats: He played in five games, had five tackles and recovered a fumble.
2017 Projections: He was brought in to SU as a potential middle linebacker. Right now Andrew Armstrong is working his way into being Zaire Franklin’s backup, but Henderson can still fight for that spot.
How'd He Get Here?: Henderson was recruited by nearly every school in Ohio (minus Ohio State). He fielded offers from Nebraska, Rutgers and Buffalo too but went with the Syracuse Orange.
What'd Recruiting Sites Say?: Everyone said three stars, scout had him ranked 94th at his position.

Tweets Of Wonder: Well he likes the Cavs... and doesn’t have the best sports predictions.
Bron gone be the first player to come from 3-1 and 3-0 in back to back seasons☝

What movie would Dino Babers recommend for him?: Let’s keep this simple... Troy. The adaptation of Homer’s epic follows a bloody and grueling attack on an ancient city.
Interesting Nugget O'Interest: Henderson played with SU corner Carl Jones and won a State Championship in 2014 with St. Edwards. The final was played at the Horseshoe at Ohio State. So they are no strangers to winning big games together on real fields.
Let's Get A Good Look Atcha: Here’s a fun interview piece from his high school days.
