Name: Ben Brickman
Position: Wide receiver
Year: Junior
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 180
Hometown: Menands, N.Y.
High School: Shaker High School
2016 Stats: Brickman suited up for Hudson Valley Community College last year, catching three passes for 37 yards.
2017 Projections: Given that he’s a walk-on at a position that should actually be pretty deep this coming season (even if a little inexperienced), I wouldn’t expect Ben to suit up for the Syracuse Orange this year.
How'd He Get Here?: Ben walked on this spring after spending two years at Hudson Valley CC.
What'd Recruiting Sites Say?: Nada — he wasn’t a high-level prospect.
Twitterfeed: Can’t seem to locate one.
Tweets of Wonder: No one’s tweeted about him, but upon hearing his last name, I initially thought it could reference a Mega Man character. So here’s a Mega Man tweet.
Dr. Light said to cool it on the puns. He just needs to chill, man. pic.twitter.com/euyewr49Di

What movie would Dino Babers recommend for him?: How about 2005’s Brick, featuring Joseph Gordon-Leavitt? Basically, he’s a high school kid that ends up getting caught up in a pretty heavy drug ring. Seems interesting (I never saw it), and JGL’s a cool dude. Maybe it’s worth a watch.
Interesting Nugget O'Interest: Brickman’s head coach at Hudson Valley CC was Mike Muehling, formerly a defensive quality control assistant under Doug Marrone at Syracuse. He was at SU for two years, and before that, spent four years at Indiana.
Let's Get A Good Look Atcha: Ben’s got some moves, as you’ll notice here.
