White, who was recognized on Senior Day this past Saturday, scored a career-high 40 points in front of 30,000-plus fans at a packed Carrier Dome. White went 8-of-9 from three-point range, including seven made three-pointers in the second half alone.
Battle ended his freshman regular season on a high note, scoring 22 points on 6-of-11 shooting and 4-of-7 from three-point range.
The two outscored Georgia Tech all by themselves, 62-61.

Now, Syracuse will travel to Brooklyn for the 2017 ACC Tournament, which begins on Tuesday.
Due to the victory over Georgia Tech, Syracuse earned a first-round bye and will play the ninth-seed Miami Hurricanes on Wednesday at noon ET on ESPN.
These two will look to continue their stellar play into championship week — especially when the Orange may need one more victory to be comfortable on Selection Sunday.
