Syracuse alums in Boeheim’s Army will set their sights on Baltimore

Carmelo’s hosting the title game this summer, will the Army be there?

For the last two summers, Boeheim’s Army has provided Syracuse Orange basketball fans with some excitement and nostalgia. Participating in The Basketball Tournament, the team made it to the Super 16 last year before losing to The Untouchables, a group of Pitt alums.

As expected the Army will reconvene again this summer for another run at the $2 million prize. What we didn’t expect is that if they collect the title and the money, they will be collecting it from Carmelo Anthony. The Orange alum has gotten involved with TBT and as a result this year’s semifinals and championship game will be played in Baltimore on August 1st and 3rd.

The entire tournament is going to be broadcast on the ESPN networks starting on July 8th. Boeheim’s Army general manager Kevin Belbey is working on this year’s roster, so now’s a great time to ask you who you want to see enlist in 2017. Let us know in the comments.
