Syracuse men’s soccer adds two more to the 2017 recruiting class, post-signing day

The Orange are adding talent from both home and abroad.

The Syracuse Orange men’s soccer team has added a pair of solid options to the squad in the weeks since National Signing Day. Joining the squad for the 2017 season will be local product Matt Pickard and Norwegian product Sondre Norheim. Both bolster an already highly rated recruiting class that TopDrawerSoccer.com has noted as the No. 6 class in the country. Without further adeiu:

Player Breakdown: Pickard is a versatile defender/midfielder who seems to slot into the squad as a bit of a utility man. Coach McIntyre mentioned specifically noted his ability and flexibility at multiple positions. Matt was also teammates with fellow recruit Lukas Rubio while part of the Empire United U-18 squad.
