Post-season awards aren’t just for football this time of year. Syracuse Orange cross-country members have been collecting some additional hardware for their 2017 success.

On Tuesday, the ACC announced that Justyn Knight and Paige Stoner were selected as the Conference’s Runners of the Year. This is Knight’s third straight ACC honor while Stoner becomes the 1st Syracuse women’s runner to earn a this honor. Chris Fox was named the ACC’s Men’s Coach of the Year for the fifth straight year. The Orange men have won the ACC XC title in every season since joining the conference.

Knight and Fox were also named USTFCCCA Northeast Region Athlete and Coach of the Year while Knight was the organization’s National Athlete of the Year. Knight’s awards were certainly expected after his win at the NCAA Championships last month. That accomplishment also got him recognized by Athletics Canada.

We’ll see if Knight and Stoner can follow up their success on the track in 2018 as both look to repeat as All-Americans. Congratulations to Justyn and Paige!
