The Syracuse Orange will be adding new football recruits throughout the early signing period, this Wednesday through Friday. As each player signs, we’ll be posting profiles here on TNIAAM. Next up?
Singer of the year 2000 hit... Standout safety (and New York product) Andre Cisco.
Hometown: Valley Stream, N.Y.
Previous School: IMG Academy
Stats: 6’0”, 183 pounds

Ratings: 247Sports and Rivals are believers with three stars, while ESPN failed to even get up for the participation ribbon and didn’t rank Cisco at all.
Other Offers: Nebraska, Illinois, Northwestern, Vanderbilt
Dino’s projected nickname: Could it be anything but “Thong Song?”
Update- Looks like Dino’s showing love to the West Coast this morning too.

Player outlook: Cisco arrives at a position of need (safety) after playing against some of the nation’s top talent at IMG Academy in South Florida. He has speed, coverage ability and a propensity to shut down bigger passing plays. Those have been a problem for the Orange secondary of late, so any help is welcome.
Thought the offseason’s transfers started to sort through the collection of players at safety right now, there are still quite a few on the roster. Dino’s likely to give first crack at the starting roles to veterans like Antwan Cordy and Rodney Williams (along with others). But 2019 could see a very open competition with Cisco and a long list of additional names involved.
