The Syracuse Orange will be adding new football recruits throughout the early signing period, this Wednesday through Friday. As each player signs, we’ll be posting profiles here on TNIAAM. Next up? D.C. standout (by way of IMG Academy) Juan Wallace.

Ratings: Three stars across the board.
Other Offers: Georgia, Kentucky, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Maryland (and quite a few more as well)
Dino’s projected nickname: “Braveheart”
Can’t wait to see this Juan leading our defense for years to come! @JuanWallaceJr #BEL18VE pic.twitter.com/Fn4zx4xX9K— Dino Babers (@CoachBabersCuse) December 20, 2017
Player Outlook: Wallace will make a difference. He’s the second biggest linebacker in this recruiting class, runs a 4.62 40-yard-dash and benches 290, according to his Hudl page. The numbers aren’t all there is to like. He’s explosive off the ball and his speed makes him a great candidate for middle linebacker as early as next fall.
Side note: After committing, his official visit to Syracuse was the week of the Clemson game. So he got a first hand look at the top energy the dome, the team and Dino Babers can have for the Syracuse Orange.
