Apparently awards season isn’t over just yet for college football. Athlon released its All-ACC team on Tuesday, and it featured five different Syracuse Orange players.

On the first-team (as he was everywhere) was wide receiver Steve Ishmael, who set an Orange record this year with 105 catches. His 1,347 receiving yards were also the second-highest total in school history.

Joining him on the first-team, however, were two Syracuse special teamers. Both Sterling Hofrichter and Cole Murphy received the honors. As a sophomore, Hofrichter was seventh in punting average in the ACC, though he wasn’t too far behind the leader (difference was 1.3 yards). He also forced 28 fair catches, put 20 punts inside the 20 and had 10 punts of 50 yards or more.

Murphy was fifth in the conference in scoring, and his 20 field goals were the highest total in the conference. He also had several makes of 50 or more yards over the course of his career (including two on the road this year).

Ervin Philips made the third team after another season catching a ton of passes (89 this time around). Parris Bennett was a second-team linebacker after collecting 115 tackles and two sacks this year.

Congrats to all five players, four of whom were seniors in 2017.
