Dino Babers puts ketchup on hot dogs and I don’t know what to believe in anymore

New, comments

NCAA Football: Pittsburgh at Syracuse Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

Well if there’s one place we know Dino Babers will never work, it’s Chicago...

The Syracuse Orange football coach was on KROCK on Thursday. And while that in itself is not breaking news, this revelation certainly was:

Yes, Dino commits the ultimate sin, putting ketchup on hot dogs. Now, this is his first transgression, so it’s hard to judge him too harshly for such a move. But at the same time, it’s such a major flaw that I don’t know if I can look past it. It’s not as bad as going to Georgetown, mind you. But besmirching a good hot dog with the world’s worst condiment, ketchup, is just not something I can ever stand for.

The definitive list of acceptable additions to hot dogs:

  1. Mustard
  2. Relish
  3. Onions
  4. Chili
  5. Sauerkraut
  6. Coleslaw
  7. Cheese
  8. Barbecue sauce (this is a me thing, not a common practice)

That’s it. I certainly don’t see ketchup above, and for good reason. It’s trash.

I honestly don’t know what to believe in anymore with Dino Babers. Is Orange REALLY the new fast? Is he not really a Game of Thrones fanatic? Are those locker room speeches just a ploy? And what about the kumbaya meetings and picnics on the quad?

KETCHUP ON A HOT DOG??!?!? You can have him, Florida*...

*no, please, we need Dino too much to let this one disagreement break us apart
