The Syracuse Orange (4-6, 2-4) face the Louisville Cardinals (6-4, 3-4) in a must-win for the Orange if they want to keep bowl hopes alive. We’ve said that for weeks now, but now it’s mathematically true. If SU falls to the Cards, they won’t make the postseason.
This game will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET today on ESPNU (or WatchESPN) from Papa John’s Stadium (THE CHEESE DOME!) in Louisville. Eric Dungey remains a game-time decision, but Dontae Strickland is out today. That’s not good. The weather’s also projected to be poor. That... may actually be alright for Syracuse.
