The Syracuse Orange depth chart is out for Friday night’s game against the Clemson Tigers. It’s not EXACTLY up-to-date, but it’s sort of close. The main difference between this week’s depth chart and last week’s? More (and less) “OR” designations.
The highlights:
- The “OR” is actually gone from the Devin C. Butler and Jamal Custis receiver spot. After last week’s effort, it’s Butler’s, outright.
- “OR” is also gone at nose tackle, where Kayton Samuels is now on top without question, over McKinley Williams (though both will still play plenty).
- Kenneth Ruff gets an “OR” at the other defensive tackle spot, which is where he started out the year anyway. That likely accounts for Josh Black’s lingering injury
- Another “OR” is tossed in at strong safety, where Rodney Williams has been getting more time lately after Evan Foster won the starting job.
Anything else stick out? We’ll have a bit more clarity this Thursday when the injury report comes out too.
