The Syracuse Orange updated their depth chart for this weekend’s game against the Florida State Seminoles, and you’ll be (un)surprised to know there’s very little new information to be had. The only changes? Two more “OR” designation now sitting between Jordan Martin and Rodney Williams at free safety, and Kayton Samuels and McKinley Williams at nose tackle.
Obviously, there’s more to the depth chart than just the one adjustment, however. Kendall Coleman and Josh Black have been out for some time now, and who knows if they’ll be returning for this game -- though we’ll find out more with Thursday’s injury report. Scoop Bradshaw was most recently seen in a sling, which likely means Juwan Dowels starts for him once again.
The “OR” at nose tackle is slightly worrisome, in case it indicates an absence for Samuels. Both Samuels and Williams have played well this year, but we really could use both of them on the field. Hopefully his name isn’t added to the growing injury report.
