Fresh off a big win, it was unlikely this week’s depth chart brought many (if any changes). When the Syracuse Orange released its depth chart for Saturday’s game against the Miami Hurricanes, that was largely the case -- save one notable “OR.”
You’ll notice the “OR” between Scoop Bradshaw and Juwan Dowels at cornerback, which is certainly a harbinger of an absence, given how Dino Babers’s previous depth charts have worked. The other “OR” designations apply to the spots where Kendall Coleman and Josh Black — both injured in recent weeks -- sit.
For those that may have missed this in the early parts of the Clemson game, Bradhsaw was seen with his arm in a sling. Dowels has played well in his absence, but we also don’t have much (experienced) depth in the secondary. Antwan Cordy’s been out since game one and might return by the Florida State game (two weeks from now).
