The Syracuse Orange lost again, which is nothing new this season. Still, we stay pretty upbeat about the whole thing, while also looking on at another likely defeat at the hands of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
In this week’s episode, John Cassillo is joined by Dan Lyons to talk about the outlook for Orange basketball, football recruiting, and of course, some beer. Some of the larger talking points:
- Being honest about Syracuse’s outlook makes this much easier
- Laughing at portions of the current ACC basketball standings
- An extensive conversation about Chuck’s
- Writing excuses for Scott Shafer, for some reason
- Notre Dame is probably knocking on the door of a Final Four berth; this the year?
- How Gus Edwards could help the Orange if he transferred here
- Want more beer? Follow John and Dan on Untappd!
Plan accordingly: This podcast runs just about an hour long. We spend the first half on Syracuse basketball matters, then switch gears to bar nostalgia and football recruiting.
