Syracuse vs. Notre Dame will kick off at noon ET on ESPN

We already knew the time, now we know the place

Last week, we found out that the Syracuse Orange would play the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at noon ET. Now we know where that game will broadcast.

Confirmed by SU, the game will appear on ESPN. Notre Dame (1-3) lost to Duke, 38-35 on Saturday. Syracuse, as you know, defeated UConn by a score of 31-24 on the road.

Syracuse is 3-4 all-time against Notre Dame, though they’ve won three of the last five. The teams last met at MetLife Stadium (like this time) in 2014. Notre Dame beat the Orange by a score of 31-15.

The Irish made some headlines today by firing defensive coordinator Brian VanGorder, which adds an additional storyline to Saturday’s proceedings. Through four games this season, Notre Dame was 103rd in total defense, and 101st in scoring defense.
