Though the Syracuse Orange haven’t played a game yet this season, the list of inactive players still has quite a few names on it for today’s matchup with Colgate.
Syracuse.com’s Stephen Bailey noted players failing to dress on Twitter earlier. We compile that full list here. No major surprises here. But just in case you’re curious where they may be throughout the course of the contest:
Offense
QB Rex Culpepper
QB Mo Hasan
WR Jamal Custis
WR Kenterius Womack
WR Clay Austin
WR Tyrone Perkins
OT Liam O’Sullivan
OL Mike Clark
Defense
DE Jaquwan Nelson
LB Tim Walton
CB Wayne Morgan
S Devon Clarke
Special Teams
K Alex Grossman
K/P Nathan Cooney
LS Nathan Hines

Rodney Williams had originally been included in Bailey’s list of potentially inactive players, but it appears he’s now in pads and working with the rest of the defensive backs. Williams had missed time in practice and was not included in the depth chart released this past Monday.
Obviously not great to see Nelson on there given the lack of depth at end. Additionally, it’s unexpected to see Custis inactive given his presence on the depth chart behind Steve Ishmael earlier in the week. Overall, quite a few injuries to wide receivers -- which could have an impact as the game wears on tonight.
Still plenty of players healthy for this one, however. Kickoff’s coming up very soon.
