Alex gained experience competing in the big invitationals last cross country season. She will carry the lessons and confidence gained from her freshman year into this season.
Kevin’s Preview:
Alex had a solid first season in 2015. She was the Orange’s 8th runner at the ACC Championships and showed promise as a contributor. In the first two meets of the season, she’s been 5th and 6th for the women. Alex was 7th in the New York state meet as a high school senior and we’ll see if the big meet experience will pay off this season.

Kevin is a great person with an even-keel attitude. He understands the process and will be ready to hop into the varsity pack after soaking up a year of training and knowledge.
Kevin’s Preview:
Kevin has started 2016 strong after taking the traditional Syracuse freshmen year off. He was 6th overall at the Spiked Shoe Invitational, which put him in the 4th spot for the Orange. During high school, Kevin was 2nd at the Pennsylvania Class AAA state championships and was a two-time Nike Nationals finalist. Last year I had several Syracuse runners tell me that Kevin would be someone to watch, and he’ll be pushing for a top-7 position this year.
