Class of 2017 four-star shooting guard Brandon Randolph is narrowing down his potential college choices and the Syracuse Orange remain in the hunt.
Earlier this week, Randolph announced that he will choose between Oregon, Arizona, Wake Forest and Syracuse. His previous list included the now-cut schools Louisville, North Carolina, Kansas, Indiana, Miami, Xavier, Alabama and Notre Dame.
The 6-foot-6 senior guard plays for Westtown School in Pennsylvania but is originally from Yonkers. He’s currently ranked No. 40 in ESPN’s 2017 rankings. 247 gives him four stars and ranks him 38th overall. Rivals isn’t as sold and slots him at 52nd.
Randolph visited Syracuse this past weekend and plans to visit the other three schools on his list as well before making a decision.
