Inside Lacrosse released its annual recruiting rankings on Monday, and for just the second time since 2000, Syracuse will bring in a recruiting class ranked outside of the top 10. The magazine has the newest Syracuse Orange incoming class ranked twelfth with Duke, UVA, UNC, and Notre Dame occupying the top four positions in that order.

The incoming Syracuse class features four players on the Inside Lacrosse Power 100 and six players named to positional rankings. Jamie Trimboli is ranked the highest of any incoming SU player at #34. Historically, this is a very low ranking group of freshman. The 2014-15 incoming class was the lowest ever ranked recruiting class for SU. Only two players in that class made the 2014 Inside Lacrosse Power 100 Freshman list, Austin Fusco (#58) and Bradley McKinney (#60). That being said, ‘Cuse bolstered the roster that year with transfers Ben Williams, Tim Barber, Warren Hill, Zack Vehar, and Ralph D’Agostino. This fall Syracuse welcomes a number of transfers including Willie Klan (G from Ohio State), Brendan Bomberry (A/M from Denver), Nick Sawyer (M from OCC but still not listed in the student directory), Henry Grass (A from Johns Hopkins), Stephen Rehfuss (A from Holy Cross), and Robert Orazietti (A, transferred from UMass to Lafayette and has enrolled as a graduate student at SU).

Below are all of the SU committed players. You can grab the digital issue of this issue of IL here.
