The Syracuse Orange women’s basketball program has added the Niagara Purple Eagles to this fall’s schedule. SU will host the game at the Carrier Dome on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 1 p.m. ET. It will coincide with a Youth Day promotion, allowing free attendance for all children under 12, plus the annual ‘Cuse Carnival which will take place in the backcourt.

Syracuse and Niagara last faced off in 2013, an 80-44 victory for the Orange at the Dome.

According to Cuse.com, this will be the final non-conference home game of the season for the Syracuse women. Additional home dates include Rhode Island (Nov. 11), Siena (Nov. 14), Michigan State (Nov. 30), Central Connecticut State (Dec. 4) and Coppin State (Dec. 7). The Orange have 10 non-conference games scheduled thus far, with a few more contests left to add.

Based on previous scheduling practices, one might expect those games to come from other power conferences. Last year, the team visited Tennessee and hosted Arizona State, on top of its early-season tournament matchup with Washington and facing Maryland in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

We’ll continue adding to the list as SU announces opponents.
