Syracuse basketball recruiting: Lonnie Walker includes Orange on top five list

The No. 19 player in the Class of 2017 has narrowed it down to Syracuse, Kentucky, Villanova, Arizona and Miami.

The Syracuse Orange offered 2017 five-star small forward Lonnie Walker back in April and have since watched him skyrocket up everyone else's list and rankings.

Thursday, Walker released his top five and the attention SU has been paying to him has paid off. He included Syracuse alongside Kentucky, Villanova, Arizona and Miami.

Who wants to be the first person to make something out of the fact that the Syracuse logo showed up first?

The Reading, PA guard is 6-foot-4 and 192 pounds and among the top 25-30 players in the Class of 2017, depending on who you ask. He's currently No. 19 on the ESPN Top 100 and most of the recruiting services consider him among the top five shooting guards in the class.
